Earlier today, February 8, the Senate State Affairs Committee unanimously approved HB 1129, which seeks to establish reciprocal agreements to allow Right to Carry permit holders from other states to lawfully carry firearms concealed in South Dakota, and vice versa. A note of special thanks to Attorney General Mark Barnett (R), who has been instrumental in helping to clear the hurdles to ensure passage of this measure. HB 1129 has already been approved by the full House and only the approval of the full Senate remains. Call your state senator at (605) 773-3821 and urge him to vote for HB 1129.
