Georgia: Pro-Hunting Bill Heads to House Floor

Last week, the Georgia state House Committee on Game, Fish and Parks passed Senate Bill 72 and it will now head to the House floor for a final vote.  Please contact your state Representative and urge them to SUPPORT Senate Bill 72.  Click the “Take Action” button below to contact your state Representative.

Senate Bill 72, sponsored by Sen. Tyler Harper (R-7), would repeal the prohibition on hunting in wildlife management areas (WMA), increase the number of deer tags available to each hunter, and remove the restriction on hunting with a suppressor.

This pro-hunting bill could come for a vote on the House floor as soon as this week.  Again, please contact your state Representative and urge them to SUPPORT Senate Bill 72.
