A Cleveland, Ohio, business owner shot a man trying to rob him as he was closing his bar, the Polish Village, for the evening. The owner told police he heard a car pull up behind him as he was locking up. He had his gun in hand and was starting to turn as a man rushed him demanding money. In fear for his life, the owner fired two shots hitting his attacker, identified as Herman McWhorter, in the groin. The car McWhorter had gotten out of sped off, and McWhorter ran behind some nearby houses. The business owner called the police and McWhorter was taken into custody.
